Life

I thought I was so clever with my master plan to write a post a day in October. And I was, until I wasn’t, which was yesterday. But that’s okay, cuz that’s just life. I am bringing you this lovely photo of our “kitchenette,” which might be an outdated term these days, but it’s a sweet spot and the heart of entertaining for our gatherings, even if it’s just tea for two. More on this room in the next post, which will come today as I play catch-up. Enough said on all that. I am confusing myself now!

All this to say, my day looked more like the second picture. Cutting, digging, marking, and separating my dahlias for their lounging time in the garage before the final step, when they’re sorted and tucked into cardboard boxes with wood shavings for the winter.

And then that’s done and dusted. Off my list!

Onwards!
