The weekend of MacDowell Medal Day begins with something special—a summer evening under the tent at MacDowell, filled with conversation, music, and a beautiful sense of purpose.

On Saturday, June 28, MacDowell invites board members, artists, supporters, and community friends to the Medal Day Benefit. This festive event supports the residency’s mission to nurture artists in all disciplines.

If you’re already planning to attend Medal Day on Sunday—or simply want to support the arts in a meaningful way—this is a wonderful way to begin the weekend.

What the Evening Includes

Cocktails and a warm welcome
Dinner prepared by Chef Erik Johansen and the MacDowell kitchen
A performance by MacDowell Fellow Roxana Robinson
Dancing under the tent with the Witness Matlou Trio
